Wetlands are nature's sponge and our dish drying mat is an all-natural option for your sink area. It retains moisture as your dishes dry, wool is naturally antimicrobial, absorbs moisture, and evaporates it. The light grey color is practical for long-term use with water, coffee stains, etc.

Handmade in New Orleans with South American 100% Cruelty-Free Wool Felt, Label is made of 100% recycled paper and tied with hemp twine.

How to care for: Soak in cold water with light soap, spot clean food stains. Can lay to dry on the counter or in the sunshine. More info on wool felt cleaning here. If you wash in the dishwasher, it will shrink around 1/4" overall (in our tests). Pro tip: Do not put in your clothes dryer on hot, that will turn wool objects into miniatures.

Wetlands are nature's sponge and our wool sponges are an all-natural option for your kitchen. Wool is naturally antimicrobial, perfect for a sponge and it doesn't shed microplastics onto your dishes and down the drain as plastic-based sponges do. Wool sponges are gentle on your dishes and the environment.

Bonus: once the wool sponge is at the end of its life, it is compostable. The light grey color is practical for long-term use with water or coffee stains, etc.

Set of 2, 5" x 5", handmade in New Orleans with Cruelty-Free South American Wool Felt, Label is made of 100% recycled paper.

How to use/care for: I threw mine in the dishwasher before initial use, it will shrink around 1/4" overall. Wash in dishwasher as needed, it may shrink a little again. Allow to dry between uses & it will shrink a little with use initially. Combine with a coconut, steel wool, or bamboo brush scrubby for dishes that need a more aggressive cleaning. Do not put in clothes dryer on hot, that turns wool objects into miniatures.
